The short version: Cooking Drama is a free, invite-only preview. Keep your account secure, use the studio lawfully and respectfully, and you stay the owner of what you create. Features will change while we build.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Cooking Drama (the “studio”), operated by the Cooking Drama team (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the studio you agree to them and acknowledge our Privacy Notice. If you use the studio on behalf of an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
A private preview
The studio is an early preview. Today it offers accounts, organizations, collaborator invitations, and projects where you write a script and generate images and video clips for it.
- Access is by invitation. We may limit, pause, or end the preview at any time.
- Features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly. We do not promise any level of availability.
- Do not rely on the studio as the only copy of anything important.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and give us accurate information, including an email address you control.
- An account is for one person. Keep your password secret and use a password you don’t use elsewhere.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@cooking-drama.example if you think someone else has accessed it; you can also log out other devices from Security settings.
- Invitation codes are personal. Do not share or sell them.
Organizations and invitations
Every account has a personal organization. You can also create shared organizations and invite collaborators by email. Owners and admins control who belongs to a shared organization and with which role; members who are removed lose access to it. Members of an organization can see each other’s names, email addresses, and roles.
Only invite people who expect to hear from you. Invitations are sent from Cooking Drama on your behalf. Organization invitations stay open until they are accepted, declined or canceled.
Generation and daily limits
- Scripts, images, and video clips are generated on our own BytePlus ModelArk account. You don’t need your own provider account or key, and the studio has no place to add one.
- To generate, we send BytePlus what each request needs: your idea and story details for a script, the prompt and any reference images for an image, and the prompt and storyboard frame for a video clip. BytePlus processes them under its own terms.
- When a result is ready, we copy it into our own storage and serve it to you from there.
- Each account can generate up to 20 scripts, 100 images, and 120 seconds of video in any 24 hours, and images and video together up to $48 of model cost at the listed price of the model and setting you pick. This counts every generation on the projects the account owns, including ones its editors start. Failed and cancelled generations don’t count. When a limit is reached, that kind of generation is refused until earlier ones are more than 24 hours old.
- Voice samples are not available at the moment. Voices you upload still work.
Credits
- Credits are required to generate. A script, image, or video is refused, and nothing is sent to the provider, when the account that pays doesn’t have enough Credits for it. The price is shown on the button before you start.
- On a shared project, the project owner’s Credits pay for what its editors generate. Editors can’t fund a project; if the owner is out of Credits, generation on it stops until the owner adds more.
- Credits are set aside when a generation starts. Work that fails is returned; work that finishes is charged what it used. A render you cancel after the provider has started it is still charged.
- During the preview, the Credits on an account are granted by us, and any purchase on the staging site is a test purchase: it adds Credits, no payment is taken, and no card is requested.
- Each account gets 1,000 free Credits once, when it finishes the welcome setup and verifies its email address. They are granted a single time and are not renewed.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or mislead others, including through organization names or invitations;
- upload or create content that sexualizes minors, promotes violence or hatred, or is otherwise harmful;
- probe, scan, or test the studio’s security, bypass rate limits or access controls, or access accounts or organizations that are not yours;
- overload, scrape, or automate access to the studio except through features we provide for that purpose; or
- resell or share access to the studio.
If you find a security issue, please report it privately to privacy@cooking-drama.example instead of testing it further.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into the studio, such as your name, organization names, and your projects, including what you generate in them. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run the studio for you and the people you share it with. We do not claim ownership of it and do not sell it.
Fees
The preview is free. We pay BytePlus for the generations you run; you spend Credits on them (see above), and we do not charge you money. If we introduce paid features, we will show prices and ask you to agree to any additional terms before you are charged anything.
Suspension and closing your account
You may stop using the studio at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to privacy@cooking-drama.example. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or when the preview ends. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export what you need.
Disclaimers and liability
The studio is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the preview. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We will update these terms as the studio grows. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the studio before they take effect. Continuing to use the studio after that means you accept the updated terms.
